Lily Wang, Ph.D. is a Professor in the Department of Public Health Sciences (DPHS) and Dr. John T. Macdonald Foundation Department of Human Genetics at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine. She is affiliated with the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center and the John P. Hussman Institute for Human Genomics (HIHG). Her research interest is to develop effective statistical and bioinformatics tools for the analysis of high throughput genomics datasets. Her most recent research involves developing new analytical strategies for analyzing genome-wide DNA methylation data, with applications to neurodegenerative diseases and cancers.
